Tana is a retired registered nurse and average layperson. She stresses that she does not have any theological degrees, so the information she gathers and shares needs to be clear and direct. That is why her book, Until Heaven Then My Friend is so comforting because the truths found were evident even to an average layperson, like herself. When her collie died, then her toy Australian shepherd, she felt an unmistakable nudge toward changing her business focus slightly. She went searching for reassurance that our beloved dogs would, in fact, be in heaven waiting for us. When she was awestruck at how much the Bible actually said about this, she wanted others to have the same confidence that she found in God's word. She wanted those of us who bond so strongly with our dogs to have peace that it is not goodbye forever when they leave this earth, but we can confidently say, "until heaven then my friend, when I see you again."
