A Perennial Life: Finding purpose in every season - Paperback
by Tammy a. Borden (Author)
Embark on a journey of hope, healing, and recovery with powerful lessons from nature, the garden, and the Maker of it all.
Every soul longs for purpose and new life. But when you're in the midst of a cold, dark winter with no hope on the horizon, it can feel like life is futile and spring will never come. Tammy Borden was in such darkness, consumed by depression and the grips of a destructive eating disorder that threatened to rob her of life itself. Broken dreams, loss, fear, and guilt overwhelmed her soul, and she dreamed of a day when she could break free from the bondage of self-destructive behavior and silence the toxic voices that convinced her she was a failure and that life would never change.
She searched more. Prayed more. Read more. Thinking she just needed to believe more. Yet the peace and joy she desperately longed for eluded her, and she felt God did, too. Until she discovered the roots of her depression and the secret to freedom.
In A Perennial Life, Tammy Borden takes you on the messy yet hope-filled journey of her recovery from anorexia and bulimia, and debilitating depression. She invites you to newly discover who you are and, more importantly, who God the Creator truly is so you can let go of past hurts and experience the abundant life you're meant to live. Through heart-gripping stories, raw confessions, and biblical insights, she'll help you embrace and redeem your own story-your seasons of life-so you can transform, grow, and unveil the significant purpose and freedom your heart longs for.
