Ken MacGray is a freelance writer, photographer, and hiker who has completed New Hampshire's 4,000-footers and "52 with a View" checklists. He lives in Concord, NH. Steven D. Smith is a hiking enthusiast, search and rescue volunteer, a veteran editor of AMC'strail guides. He lives in Lincoln, NH. MacGray and Smith are also co-authors of AMC's Southern New Hampshire Trail Guide.
