Andre LaCocque is Professor of Old Testament Emeritus at Chicago Theological Seminary. He is the author of 'The Feminine Unconventional' and 'Romance, She Wrote, ' and the coauthor (with Paul Ricoeur) of 'Thinking Biblically: Exegetical and Hermeneutical Studies.'
