Despite many common characteristics, right-wing populist parties have historically been more successful in the Netherlands and Flanders than in Luxembourg and Wallonia.

Author Biography

Léonie de Jonge is Assistant Professor in European Politics and Society at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. She holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge, UK (2019). Her research has been published in different journals, including the International Journal of Press/Politics and Government & Opposition.
